and Karen South and their nine children reside in this 3,950 square
foot Monolithic Dome built on a 1,260 acre butte overlooking the
Snake River in Menan, Idaho. The triple dome consists of a 40' center
dome, a 20' dome and a 35' dome. Their family uses large amounts
of electricity, but the direct in-floor heating costs are only $27.00
per month in cold Idaho winters. |
