St. Joseph Dedicates New Dome Church in Texasby Carol Lanham The bishop of the Diocese of Dallas traveled to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Commerce, Texas earlier this month to dedicate a new Monolithic Dome sanctuary. Most Rev. Kevin J. Farrell celebrated Mass in the new building and then attended a reception with parishioners afterwards. The dome replaces St. Joseph’s aging sanctuary, built in 1955, which seats about 100 people. The new worship space, which measures 88 feet in diameter and approximately 6000 square feet, can accommodate more than 400 people. Related Links:
