What would it be like to move from a conventional home built in the 19th century to a futuristic Monolithic Dome completed in the 21st century?
You could ask Michael Goodwin. He recently moved into a new dome home after living in a 1860s-era house in Ontario, Canada. In a feature article published recently in the Globe and Mail, Goodwin talks about why he made the transition. The dome’s energy efficiency and low maintenance were definite selling points, but Goodwin also received an unexpected bonus: great acoustics for his harmonica playing.
