It's A Hit: NCTC's Monolithic Dome Performing Arts Center

NCTC's new FSB Performing Arts Center. About its construction, Dr. Steve Broyles, Dean of Administrative Services, said that this Monolithic Dome facility was, "The best experience we have ever had building anything. On a $5.5 million construction project, we only budgeted $45,000 in contingency funds. Due to excellent planning and good construction, there was still $14,300 in contingency funds that was not used. The total project including architect and furnishings was $6 million.
