Same Dome, Different Climates

Below these thatched roofs lie the Monolithic Domes which provide accomodations for the Xanadu Island Resort. Ivan and Judy Sheinbaum, owners of Xanadu, on Ambergris Caye in the West Caribbean nation of Belize, chose a Monolithic Dome for safety and energy reasons. Their domes survived Hurricane Keith in 2000.
