This dome was designed on a cliff as a visitors center for a state park in Wyoming. It has not yet been built, but is a possibility.

Dome of a Home located in Pensacola Beach, Florida. This home is a spectacular vacation rental. Construction of this beautiful coastal dome home began in 2002. It has been the focus of many cable shows and served as media headquarters during Hurricane Ivan which hit Pensacola Beach during the 2004 hurricane season.

Built with a 12' stemwall, this Monolithic Dome measures 124'x25' with a total height of 37-feet. It features seating for 720, a full-size basketball court, four locker rooms, a front foyer concession, and bathrooms. The beautifully stuccoed exterior includes a synthetic glass-block entryway and an eye-catching, copper-colored roof.

This tropical island resort on Ambergris Caye in the West Caribbean nation of Belize features three fully furnished apartment suites with a sea view, floor-to-ceiling windows, lined drapes, and Italian ceramic floors. Each suite is air-conditioned, fully furnished, cedar closets, a fully equipped kitchen, and ceiling fans in every room.

The home of Dr. and Mrs. Al Braswell sits nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains on a ridge that’s 1500 feet above the prevailing elevation of 3900 feet, with a commanding view of much of Riverside County. It features a unique aerodynamic design of three domes flowing into each other: a central dome with a diameter of 50 feet, flanked by two 40-foot diameter domes. In August 2002, the Braswell home was threatened by fire. The fire went right over the top of our house, down the hill, and caught on the other side with minimal damage to the home.

Bruco -- the Italian name for caterpillar -- is the Airform manufacturing plant of Monolithic Constructors, Inc. It was built using a single Airform that was shaped as seven interconnected 60' domes. Bruco is 240' long, 24' high, 60' wide and provides 14,000 square feet of floor space.

Chateau de Lumiere is the home of Rick and Melody Crandall in Arizona. The two Monolithic Dome towers, each with a diameter of 23 feet and vertical walls 16 feet high, have no internal partitions on either their first or second floor. The front entry features synthetic glass block allowing generous amounts of light into the home, hence the name "Castle of Light" or "Le Chateau de Lumiere".

Home of Sviet Raikov, a native Russian, attended a Monolithic Dome Workshop in 1994 and returned home to build this unique Monolithic Dome home -- a first of its kind in Russia. It measures 35'x18' and features built in desks, bed, and a handmade staircase.

This rendering is a cross-section of the Monolithic Dome. It illustrates the Airform-Foam-Rebar-Concrete symbiosis that makes up the walls of the Monolithic Dome.
