In Ballan, Australia he runs a migration office that helps immigrants to his country with their necessary, complex paperwork, is involved with industrial hemp, markets music videos and DVDs and serves his community as Justice of the Peace and a Knight of the Order of St. John Hospitalier. |

Charlotte will soon have its first Monolithic Dome home. It's currently being constructed by South Industries, Inc. for Dennis and Trisa Gay.

In the spring of 2006, we built the shell of a four-dome house on the front of our property, here at Monolithic. It sits on approximately 1.1 acres and has a total floor area of about 2700 square feet. The home is up and structurally finished, but needs Monolithic Stucco on the outside, windows, doors and a complete finish out. |

On Friday, February 17, 2006, one hundred sixty domephiles (people fond of domes) enjoyed a scrumptious dinner and a keynote speech by David B. South, president of Monolithic, at the Ft. Worth Plaza Hotel in Ft. Worth, Texas. It was the banquet dinner at the Twelfth Annual Monolithic Dome Conference -- a two-day event noted for its informative presentations. |

According to Bryan, he and Dianne got interested in Monolithic Domes after observing another couple's dome-building project. "Our friends Michael and Roberta Rice built a dome-home outside of Sandpoint, Idaho. We followed their experience from the time they signed their first papers to the present day." As soon as they started planning their Monolithic Dome home, the Bremners began documenting the process on their website. |

Hurricane Dennis, which made landfall on Sunday afternoon on Pensacola Beach, Florida, did not pack the punch Floridians had feared. Thankfully, Dennis did not do as much damage as his big brother Ivan did last year. |
