The Castle Wall: Monolithic's New Way to Build Stemwalls

<<Previous Image | Back to Article |Next Image>>

Castle Wall

This sample of concrete blocks represents a portion of a 60-foot Castle Wall stemwall for a Monolithic Dome. Used is a darker color on the bottom and the lighter "Texas Sand" on top. Although darker shades do some fading, they can be used for accent or for the total wall. The Castle Wall top has a simulated dome attachment, that allows the Airform to come down and make a positive drip behind a metal fascia. So, water coming over the edge to the drip is hidden and prevented from streaking dirt on the fascia itself.
