Leland Podular Schools

"Leland" Pods is the name given to a series of Monolithic Dome structures designed as pods that can be mixed and matched to create a school. The Leland Pod is a 60 foot diameter Monolithic Dome with the four edges clipped off. The clipped sides can be matched to another pod or be fitted with a metal truss allowing windows and doors to be installed in it. The Pod is ideally sized for multiple uses such as:

• Four classrooms of approximately 600 square feet each
• Three classrooms of approximately 800 square feet each
• Cafeteria / commons room of approximately 2660 square feet
• Two spaces of 1330 square feet each
• Administration office pod with 12 office spaces
• Multipurpose room for gym / performance
• And more

This school made up of "Leland" Pods is extremely cost efficient and permanent. The pods can be used as singles or as an infinite number of multiples. They will fit most any site. The time to construct is less than conventional structures. And best of all the price is given to the school board up front -- as is done with the conventional modulars.
