Metropolitan Pennsylvania Considers Monolithic Dome Special Events Facility
July 20, 2005 by Kris Garrison This is a feasibility study conducted by LPDJ Architects LLC which includes the design, financing and construction details of a proposed Monolithic Dome Arena in Pennsylvania for various sporting events, entertainment venues, concerts and shows. The proposed facility will be designed to host a myriad of events, including, but not limited to:
Seating for the proposed facility can range from 7,000 to 10,000 plus -- including general admission, suite and club seating. Food warming areas, catered food services, A/V equipment will be available options to suite and club seating. The suite level will also include a media room with a clear view of the arena floor. The team rooms will feature coach's offices, official locker rooms, meeting rooms, restrooms, showers and equipment storage rooms all located at the arena floor level. The arena will host concessions and vendor space at the mezzanine level on all sides of the arena. The home team side will be designed to provide office space for Arena Management offices, conference rooms, private restrooms and a private outside entrance.
